Blossom Verre Églomisé Panel is crafted using traditional reverse- and antiquing techniques, where leaf and painted detail are applied to the reverse of the glass before controlled distressing creates depth and age.
The composition features finely rendered blossom branches in soft coral pinks and muted greens, with a small bird delicately poised along a slender limb. The subject evokes East Asian decorative traditions, where nature is stylised yet lyrical, balanced yet fluid. The painterly detailing is subtle rather than theatrical, allowing the surrounding foxed and mottled mirror ground to breathe.
The mirrored surface is intentionally aged, with areas of silvering softly clouded and broken to create tonal variation. This interplay between reflective clarity and timeworn produces a layered effect: part mural, part mirror, part atmospheric surface.
Ideal for feature walls, panels, screens, furniture inserts or framed compositions, each verre églomisé piece is produced to special commission. Scale, colour palette, tone and level of distressing can all be tailored to suit the architectural setting, ensuring the panel feels integrated rather than applied.
