English Brogue Herringbone Leather is formed from precision-cut leather briquettes laid in a classic herringbone pattern, bringing rhythm and structure to the surface. Each piece is painstakingly hand dyed and hand finished, allowing tonal variation and natural markings to emerge, much like aged hide goods or heritage upholstery.
Decorative brogue-style edging adds a refined crafted detail, referencing traditional English leatherwork and saddlery. The embossing and finishing processes enhance both the visual depth and the sensory qualities of the material - the surface inviting touch as much as it commands attention.
Mounted on a stable marine ply base, the leather tiles are suitable for interior floors and walls, and can be specified in natural, tan, chocolate or more contemporary colourways such as saffron and mustard. Custom colours can also be produced to order.
Designed to work harmoniously alongside other De Ferranti materials - from stone and to - English Brogue Herringbone Leather offers a sensual, architectural alternative to conventional hard surfaces, combining craftsmanship, warmth and pattern in equal measure.
