Iznik-Inspired Ceramic Inlay in Marble – Turquoise and Cobalt
An Iznik-inspired inlay where hand-painted ceramic motifs in and cobalt are set into a pale field, creating a crisp, swirling composition that feels both historic in reference and sharply architectural in finish.

Using the inlay technique, the ceramic elements are cut and seated into precise recesses within the substrate, then finished so the surface reads clean and unified. The design centres on a rotating four-leaf swirl, anchored by small star-like medallions, giving the pattern a sense of motion while retaining strong symmetry.

The palette is classic Iznik: bright , deep cobalt, and clean white highlights, all sharpened by the calm, backdrop of . Light catches the glazed ceramic differently from the stone, adding subtle depth and a gentle shift in reflectivity across the pattern.

Ideal for bespoke borders, feature panels, medallion inserts, thresholds, fireplace surrounds, and statement wall or floor compositions where precision craft and heritage pattern are part of the brief. As a handmade and natural-material piece, variation in brushwork, glaze tone, and marking is integral to the authenticity.
