Rhythm carved into earth.
The central band of triangular forms introduces architectural clarity, while the surrounding textured rows add depth and shadow. Every mark is hand-scribed into raw clay using traditional tools, giving the surface subtle variation and a quiet sense of movement.
Fired according to the centuries-old Tierra Negra process, the tile develops a rich black satin finish with warm undertones of and deep earth. The softly iridescent surface enhances the relief, allowing light to graze across the raised and recessed elements.
Originally rooted in a pottery tradition used for domestic vessels, this craft is here transformed into architectural expression - bold, textural, and unmistakably handmade.
