Piglet Parade Frieze is a hand-painted ceramic tile panel composed as a long horizontal strip, intended to run as a backsplash feature band or eye-level frieze. The artwork depicts a line of pale piglets nestled together, rendered with delicate linework and subtle shading, set against a muted, watercolour-like ground of sage, moss and grey-green tones.
The panel is built from multiple tiles, so it installs as a continuous image once set and grouted. Fine tile joins remain visible and become part of the character, giving it the look of a traditional painted tile mural rather than a printed sheet. The palette is intentionally restrained, which makes it easy to pair with stone, timber, brass, painted cabinetry, and both classic and modern kitchens.
Use it as a focal strip behind a hob, along a main worktop run, or as a feature above a sink. Keep grout lines neat and colour-matched in a soft grey or warm off-white to avoid breaking the illustration. As a hand-painted glazed surface, specify gentle cleaning and avoid abrasive pads. In cooking zones, a good quality seal around edges and careful detailing at joints will help protect the panel over time.
