Antique Jerusalem Stone Floor for Restaurant – Piccadilly, London | 30 x 30 cm with Lido Border
For an upmarket restaurant in Piccadilly, London, De Ferranti supplied a one-off floor in Antique Jerusalem Stone, sourced and selected over a three-month period to achieve the exact tone, texture and patina the client wanted. Cut into 30 x 30 cm tiles and finished with our Lido border design, the result is a richly characterful stone floor built for hospitality settings.

making it ideal for restaurants that want authenticity rather than a uniform, newly made look. For this Piccadilly project, both the designers and the hotelier owner client were committed to using this distinctive material, so De Ferranti undertook a detailed three-month process of sourcing, reviewing and selecting the stone to secure a truly unique, site-specific result.

nOnce the stone selection was finalised, the floor was cut into 30 x 30 cm tiles to create a disciplined module that could handle heavy footfall while still allowing the patina and texture to read across the space. A perimeter border in De Ferranti’s Lido design was then introduced to frame the field and give the installation a finished, architectural “carpet” quality.
