This blue-grey limestone mosaic from De Ferranti’s Bardo Collection arranges small rotated squares into a cool, finely scaled geometric repeat. With a sophisticated matt finish, the collection offers a modern take on ancient Roman mosaic craft, and its almost chalky limestone surface allows soft mineral variation to remain visible.
The Bardo Collection is available in a variety of sizes, colours and designs, including stripes, florals and geometric patterns. In this version, blue-grey and pale cream tesserae alternate across the field, creating a crisp diagonal movement without the hard uniformity of a printed pattern.
The warmer Diagonal Squares in beige is useful for comparing neutral undertones, while Diagonal Squares in gold introduces honeyed colour and stronger veining. De Ferranti’s Limestone Collection provides a broader stone reference when the mosaic needs to coordinate with larger-format limestone.
A blue-grey limestone mosaic can read differently under warm and cool lighting, so samples should be reviewed beside the actual paint, timber and metal finishes where possible. The diagonal orientation creates strong visual lines across larger areas, making early setting out important at thresholds and room centres. Grout close to the pale stone will quieten the joints, while a deeper grey can emphasise the tessera geometry. Recorded applications include bathrooms, commercial interiors, flooring, kitchens, residential interiors, restaurants, internal walls and tile applications. Exterior use is not listed for this product and should not be assumed. For larger schemes, review several sheets together to assess natural colour distribution before final quantities are confirmed.
