This nacre mother of pearl mosaic uses finely cut natural shell tesserae set on mesh, bringing a luminous white surface with the layered iridescence associated with nacre. Completely handmade, this finely cut and shaped Nacre (mother of pearl) shell is carefully set on mesh for ease of installation. Each shell tessera is 10mm, 15mm or 20mm square. This option has a joint, however, we also have a butt jointed option . Commissions have included walls, vanity unit doors and tabletops. Its uses are endless. Where the budget is restricted we recommend that our clients use shell for borders, dados (chair rails) or as accent tiles.
