This silver flecked pyrite surface combines the shimmer of Fool’s Gold with a more irregular abstract composition. Known as Fool’s Gold, the material is formed from naturally occurring minerals that are painstakingly and expertly hand-set into opus mosaic patterning, then carefully polished and, where required, antiqued to reveal reflective, luminescent qualities. Refined and raw finishes can also be combined. It is available as tiles of various sizes including briquettes or pavers, or as bespoke-sized slabs, and may be customised with contrasting materials such as black agate, lapis lazuli, mother of pearl or jasper.

The visible surface reads as a pale mineral field broken into irregular polygonal sections, with darker angular interruptions creating an abstract rhythm. Silver-toned flecking tempers the warmer pyrite glow, making the design useful where a metallic surface needs movement without a rigid repeat.
