This medieval stone pavement combines De Ferranti’s signature sage stone, black limestone and carefully selected leathery terracotta in a patterned floor with a contrasting wave-like border. The composition is inspired by floors found in medieval churches, using the relationship between pale green-grey stone, dark limestone and warm cotto to create a clear field-and-border structure.
