These green pink glass tiles are made from handblown bubble glass. For those wanting statement decorative materials, these handblown glass tiles, reminiscent of the bubbles in the best vintage Champagne, couldn’t be more opulent. The Effervescence range, from De Ferranti’s Bohemian artisans, is available in a wide range of colourways from Krystal to Champagne pink and more honey and bronze tones to blues and purples.
Effervescence in Green-Pink has one of the more elusive colour relationships in the range. The photographed surface reads primarily as muted green and smoky grey, but areas shift towards rose, plum and violet as light moves across the field. Small bright bubbles are scattered among larger rounded forms, so both colour and texture change continuously rather than settling into a fixed repeat.
For a softer green direction, Effervescence in Pastel Green offers a quieter companion, while Effervescence in Pink concentrates on the warmer side of the palette. De Ferranti’s Glass Mosaic collection provides other approaches to luminous tessellation, and Glass Pebble Mosaics continue the rounded visual language at a different scale.
Green pink glass tiles should be judged from several viewing angles before specification. A sample that appears predominantly green under one light source may reveal warmer pink or violet notes under another. This makes the surrounding palette important: neutral stone and plaster can leave the colour shift exposed, while coloured finishes may reinforce one side of it. Review grout, lighting direction, edges and cut pieces together so the installation’s changing character feels intentional across the complete surface.
