Venezia Rosa

Venezia Rosa fresco tiles present a Venetian-inspired design: polished slip surface, similar technique to that used in Ancient Greek Pottery. These tiles have the aged and weathered look of ancient frescoed walls. Instead of a conventional glaze, they have a satin finish, fired to 1045°C for colour stability, and are sealed to ensure they are impervious to water and grease.

Venezia Rosa Fresco Tiles in Dusty Rose and Ivory

Soft rose-pink brushwork forms a nested four-lobed motif across a weathered ivory ground. A smaller central quatrefoil sits within broader curved petals, creating a balanced composition with the character of a stylised flower or carved Venetian ornament.

Faded colour, irregular linework and visible surface markings give these dusty rose Venetian tiles a time-softened appearance. The pattern remains clearly defined, but the subdued palette prevents the repeated field from becoming visually heavy.

Venetian-Inspired Quatrefoil Geometry

The Venetian character is expressed through curved geometry, symmetry and the repeated four-lobed form. Each tile contains a complete motif, allowing the pattern to establish a steady rhythm across larger wall areas without relying on precise connections between every painted line.

Small variations in colour and brushwork prevent the rose quatrefoil tiles from appearing mechanically uniform. A pale or warm-toned grout can support the ivory ground, while a contrasting joint will make each square module more distinct.

Within the same collection, Venezia Blu offers a cooler interpretation of the design. San Marco explores another Venetian reference through geometry inspired by the patterned facade of the Ducal Palace.

Specification and Related Rose Surfaces

A sample panel of the Venezia Rosa fresco tiles is recommended to assess the dusty rose colour, satin finish, grout relationship and distribution of weathered variation. Quantities should allow for cuts and considered placement where the pattern meets corners, niches or adjoining surfaces.

Elsewhere within De Ferranti, White Rosé MC46 offers a quieter blush-toned ceramic for complementary fields. The Quattrofoglie Border Terra develops related four-leaf geometry through warm terracotta and stone. Please confirm formats, quantities, installation requirements and project suitability before ordering.
