Radar – Denim brings blue circular tiles into De Ferranti’s Modernist collection by Neisha Crosland, using concentric repeats to create rhythm, pulse and controlled movement. The denim blue linework gives the design colour and definition, while the pale ground keeps the pattern clear and balanced. The result is a hand-painted antiqued terracotta tile with optical energy and a softened, crafted surface.
Within the Neisha Crosland Modernist collection, Radar – Denim shows how a circular motif can become a complete field of pattern. The repeated rings suggest soundwaves, ripples or signals moving outwards, giving the surface a sense of motion without losing order. The denim colourway gives the Radar design a cooler and calmer expression than the black version.
This product is listed as a 20 x 20 cm tile with a four-tile repeat. That scale allows the circular pattern to read clearly across larger surfaces, especially where the design is allowed to build into a continuous field. Used in smaller areas, it can create a precise feature panel, splashback, fireplace surround or decorative wall section.
As blue circular tiles, Radar – Denim is particularly useful where a project needs movement, pattern and a calm blue note rather than strong monochrome contrast. It can work across bathrooms, kitchens, fireplace surrounds, residential interiors, restaurants, swimming pool areas and warm-climate external settings where the specification is suitable. The denim and pale palette can sit well with limestone, plaster, white stone, oak, bronze, dark joinery and relaxed neutral schemes.
