Rose Jacob’s Tree Tiles bring Neisha Crosland’s Tree of Life design into a soft rose terracotta surface with a handpainted antiqued finish. Part of De Ferranti’s FLORIS collection, Jacob’s Tree – Rose is a 20 cm x 20 cm decorative tile for interiors that need botanical structure, fine drawn detail and a crafted surface with a gentle blush tone.
The Jacob’s Tree design is based on abstract magnolia flowers grafted onto a Tree of Life. Its influences include Jacobean embroidery, copper-plate etched illustration from an old fairy tale book and Paul Poiret, giving the motif an intelligent decorative language without making the tile feel like a period reproduction.
In Rose, the design is softened by blush linework and a pale ground. The colourway can sit naturally with plaster, pale stone, warm timber, brass, antique mirror, leather and other specialist De Ferranti materials. It is useful where a room needs pattern and surface interest, but where stronger colour would feel too dominant.
Jacob’s Tree – Rose is listed with a handpainted antiqued finish. The 20 cm x 20 cm format gives the repeat a practical scale for walls, floors and feature areas where the specification allows. The fine drawn lines suggest the embroidery stitches that originally informed the design, making the tile especially effective where detail will be appreciated close up.
Rose Jacob’s Tree Tiles can be considered for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplace surrounds, flooring, walling, leisure areas, residential interiors, restaurants, swimming pool tile areas and warm climate exterior applications, subject to project specification. Used in a compact area, the tile can define a splashback, shower wall, fireplace return or pool room detail. Across a broader surface, the Tree of Life repeat creates a calm patterned field with softness, rhythm and craft.
