Mist & Mineral is a carefully curated blend of soft whites, pale mineral tones and subtle grey-green undertones inspired by weathered stone, aged limewash and naturally softened architectural surfaces. Calm, understated and quietly sophisticated, it creates a nuanced ceramic surface rich in depth and character.


Part of The Whites Collection from the collaboration between De Ferranti and AAA - Alvaro Afonso Atelier, Mist & Mineral combines MC35, MC37 and MC50 to create a harmonious blend of soft neutral tones that sit between white, stone, sage and mineral grey.

Unlike brighter white blends, Mist & Mineral introduces a subtle architectural softness through its gentle grey-green undertones. The result is a surface that feels grounded, natural and timeless, drawing inspiration from weathered plaster walls, limestone facades, aged render and the muted colours found in historic buildings.

The blend allows individual tiles to shift naturally between the constituent glazes, creating movement and variation across the installation. From a distance the surface reads as calm and cohesive, while closer inspection reveals the subtle tonal changes that give handmade ceramics their unique charm. This mural-like quality creates visual interest without relying on strong colour contrasts.

De Ferranti maintains substantial stocks of greenware - unglazed ceramic blanks ready to receive their final finish.
