Specifying the Weathered Sage ceramic brick

Weathered Sage ceramic brick provides a quiet linear surface that can sit comfortably beside stone, timber, limewash and mineral wall finishes. A running bond, stacked arrangement or vertical setting can change the perceived scale and direction of the surface. The selected layout should be tested against the actual tile dimensions and edge variation, with corners, reveals, terminations and cut pieces resolved before quantities are finalised.

Physical samples should be reviewed under the intended lighting, as the muted glaze may read differently beside adjoining materials. For larger installations, tiles should be opened and blended from the supplied batch so differences in glaze depth, facial character and edge profile are distributed deliberately.

Exact brick dimensions and thickness should be confirmed with De Ferranti before drawings and setting-out dimensions are fixed. Wet-area, floor, exterior and submerged applications require project-specific confirmation of the tile and complete installation system.
