This unique Babylon border is fashioned from Pure White Makrana Marble, white semi-precious serpentine and Mother of Pearl cabochon accent dots over a cement base, ensuring that the border is stable, sound and easier to install. Totally hand-cut and hand assembled, it is a truly handmade product. No border is the same, as the artist’s hand is vital in creating natural nuances within each interlocking piece.

Thicknesses can be 2 cm or made to order, as can the border widths and material combinations. All De Ferranti borders are fully customisable.

Mother of Pearl Border with Soft Geometric Detail

The beauty of this Mother of Pearl border lies in its quiet control. Pale petal forms repeat across the surface, linked by small cabochon accents that catch the light without overwhelming the composition. The white marble and serpentine create a gentle tonal field, while the shell detail introduces a pearlescent point of reflection.
