Victorian Geometric Module – Honed Lightly Distressed
A timeless Victorian geometric floor module with a softer, lived-in character. Honed for a calm, low-sheen surface and lightly distressed to take the edge off the geometry, this version feels authentic, relaxed, and immediately at home in period properties.

The design is built around crisp monochrome structure: square fields punctuated by diagonal quarters and small details, all framed by a disciplined border and a tight chequer band. It is the familiar language of London entrance halls and Victorian thresholds, balanced between strong graphic contrast and refined proportion.

In this finish, the stone is honed to a smooth matte-satin, then gently distressed to introduce subtle wear and hand-finished nuance. Edges soften slightly, transitions feel less sharp, and the overall surface gains a quiet sense of age without looking heavily antiqued. Natural veining in the white remains visible, while the black stone reads deep and architectural, with just enough texture to stop it feeling too perfect.

Ideal when you want the classic Victorian look, but with a more forgiving, heritage-friendly finish that sits comfortably alongside timber, plaster, and older architectural details.
