A handmade, gas-fired terracotta tile, hand antiqued to create the look of an old, timeworn floor from day one.

Formed and fired traditionally, these terracotta tiles are then deliberately distressed and hand finished to soften edges, break uniformity and introduce the gentle surface wear associated with reclaimed flooring. The colour sits in warm sienna and clay-brown tones, with subtle tonal drift and a lightly aged character that feels settled rather than new.

The hand antiquing is intentional, designed to deliver an immediate patina , with small variations in shade, texture and edge definition that make the installation read as naturally evolved over time.

Part of our Terracotta series, Handmade Terracotta Gas Fired is suited to floors and walls across kitchens, halls, dining rooms, wine rooms and bathrooms. As with all handmade terracotta, expect natural variation tile to tile, which is central to the finished effect once laid.
