Shells sliced crosswise, inlaid onto a substrate using adhesive, grouted with gold resin and ground to a smooth finish.

Inspired by suds – the circular formations created when water is infused with soap – this composition captures the sense of floating, translucent rings suspended in a warm, luminous field. The natural troca shells reveal delicate spiral centres and concentric growth lines, shifting from pearl white to soft honey and cream. The gold resin grout intensifies this warmth, creating depth, richness and gentle reflectivity.
