Set against a crisp white resin grout, the shells appear to float across the surface - like bubbles rising and dissolving. The natural translucency of the shell introduces soft pearlescent tones: milky ivory, faint champagne, pale smoke and occasional silvered edges. When polished to a glossy finish, the surface catches light delicately, amplifying its sense of depth and movement.
Every ring differs slightly in diameter, tone and internal spiral formation. These organic variations prevent repetition, giving the composition a natural rhythm rather than a mechanical uniformity.
Shells are inlaid onto a stable substrate using adhesive, then grouted in white resin and ground to a smooth, lustrous finish.
