A dramatic interpretation of our Troca composition, this version sets luminous shell rings against a deep black resin ground. The contrast heightens the sculptural quality of each circular slice, allowing the natural spiral core of the shell to float like suspended droplets in still water.

Shells are sliced crosswise, revealing their organic whorled centres, then carefully inlaid onto a substrate using adhesive. The surface is grouted in black resin and ground to a smooth, high-gloss finish. The dark background intensifies the pearlescent whites and silvery tones of the shell, creating a striking interplay of light and shadow. The effect is reminiscent of soap bubbles against a night sky – graphic, modern and quietly luxurious.

Each piece carries subtle tonal variations, from creamy ivory to cool mother-of-pearl hues, ensuring that no two panels are ever identical.
