This border is defined by a rhythmic sequence of curved “eye” and crescent forms, where ribbons weave across the centre and catch the light with a soft, shifting sheen. White serpentine provides the clean architectural ground, while the surrounding green frame adds depth and weight, turning the whole piece into a jewelled banding detail rather than a simple perimeter.
The geometry feels classical but fresh - part knotwork, part optical pattern - ideal for outlining stone floors, framing a central rug panel, defining thresholds, or running as a datum line in corridors and entrance halls.
As a mixed-material inlay, each section will carry natural variation in the green and the unique iridescence of the shell. Sequencing can be specified for longer runs to keep the flow consistent.
