A high-impact shell surface made from paua shell, sliced into sharp triangular fragments and inlaid to create a shimmering, cubist-style composition. Iridescent, graphic, and unapologetically bold.

This design uses a “crazy cut” of paua shell, with triangular pieces inlaid onto a substrate using adhesive, then ground back to a smooth, glossy finish. The faceted geometry catches light from every angle, shifting through silvers, sea-greens, petrol blues, and violet flashes as you move around it. The overall effect is abstract and architectural, with a fractured rhythm inspired by Cubism.

Sizes available: 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 100 cm. Thickness varies by application: tiles approx. 7 mm, wall panels from 7 mm to 19 mm.
