Panay White is made from natural , cut into small square that reveal gentle, shifting light across the surface. The palette sits in creamy white with subtle beige and champagne veining, so it reads refined and tonal from a distance, then comes alive as the light moves.
Each is mounted on an approx. 8 mm ceramic backing for stability. size is approximately 4.8 x 4.8 cm, creating a clean grid that suits both modern and classical interiors. As a natural shell material, variation in shade, pattern, and iridescence is expected and is part of the appeal.
The surface is protected with a thin polyurethane top coat, but remains sensitive to acids and harsh cleaners. Avoid contact with vinegar, wine, champagne, lemon juice, and acid-based cleaning products, as these can stain or damage the finish. Shell itself is waterproof, but this collection is recommended for decorative interior use where it will not be exposed to aggressive chemicals.
Ideal applications include feature walls, splashbacks in low-risk zones, vanity panels, joinery inlays, and boutique detailing. Use a light, sympathetic grout to keep the grid soft and minimise contrast, and specify careful sealing and maintenance guidance as part of the handover. Bespoke adjustments to series and formats can be produced on demand, and the shells used are from protected species, aligned with the Washington Convention.
