Chocolate Brown Rough Crackle Shell is built from layered shell pieces with visible growth lines and a fractured, crackle-like network that runs through the surface. The colour sits in a spectrum of deep brown, burnt honey and -black, with flashes of pearlescence that appear as the light changes. The pattern reads almost geological - sweeping arcs, overlapping bands and fine fissures that give the tile its “rough crackle” personality.
This finish is ideal for feature walls, bar and reception fronts, niches, powder rooms, headboards, cabinetry cladding and decorative panels where you want warmth and drama without relying on loud colour. It pairs beautifully with patinated brass, dark timbers, blackened steel, warm and chocolate-toned stones.
As a natural shell surface, variation is part of the appeal: expect differences in tone, striation and crackle from tile to tile. Best suited to interior wall applications and low-contact areas. Clean gently with a soft cloth and neutral cleaner, and avoid acids, abrasives and harsh degreasers to preserve the lustre and layered depth.
