Brown Lip Hinge is composed of longitudinally cut clam shell hinges, tightly set without visible grout to create a seamless, vertical rhythm. The natural curvature of each slice produces a layered shimmer, shifting between warm beige, taupe and pearlescent flashes as light moves across the surface.

Each shell hinge is chemically cleaned, cut lengthwise and carefully inlaid onto a stable substrate using specialist adhesives. The absence of grout enhances the continuity of the pattern, recalling the stacked texture of aged brickwork while retaining the unmistakable iridescence of mother of pearl .

As a natural material, tonal variation and subtle irregularities are inherent and part of its character. Suitable for decorative interior applications.
