Cut into 10 mm x 10 mm squares, each abalone piece is laid edge-to-edge to create a disciplined mosaic field with minimal joint lines. Up close, every square carries its own natural banding and iridescence, moving through sea-greens, soft silvers, petrol blues, and warm amber flashes depending on the light. From a distance it reads as a subtle, textile-like texture; close in, it becomes richly detailed and almost topographic.
