Scala Rhombi – Variation on Silver
Scala Rhombi - Variation on Silver is a faceted, hand-finished terracotta tile in a cooler, more tonal mix of silvers, stone whites and deep charcoal, designed to create a crisp, sculptural surface that shifts as the light moves.

This variation amplifies the “folded” geometry of the Scala family, using sharp planes and angled facets to produce a strong play of highlight and shadow. The palette is deliberately restrained - pearl, pale grey, brushed silver and inky charcoal - so the pattern reads as architecture rather than ornament.

Each tile is finished by hand, so the silvering has a natural movement and depth, with subtle variation across the surface that prevents repetition from feeling mechanical. Installed in a field, the design forms a rhythmic, crystalline grid that feels simultaneously graphic and tactile.

Ideal for feature walls, stair halls, reception areas, splashbacks and powder rooms, as well as statement floor panels in lower-traffic settings. Pairs beautifully with blackened metalwork, pale stone, warm timber and minimal plaster finishes for a quietly dramatic, contemporary look.
