Each tile is dipped, glazed and fired individually, and the kiln introduces delicate tonal fluctuations. Light catches the surface differently from tile to tile, revealing minute pinholes, soft pooling at the edges and barely perceptible differences in density.

The result is a living white – never flat, never sterile.
