A bold harlequin border pairing warm Paktong with crisp White Serpentine in a check, designed to bring movement and tailored contrast to floors and framed stone compositions.
This border is laid as a diagonal repeat, creating a classic harlequin rhythm with a more material-led feel. Paktong provides the deep golden-brown field, while White Serpentine cuts through with bright, clean geometry, giving definition at the perimeter of a room or around a central stone rug.
Typically supplied in 300 x 100 mm or 300 x 150 mm formats, the border is delivered as mounted panels for stability and cleaner installation. Depending on specification and substrate requirements, it can be prepared over marine ply, honeycomb or a base.
Ideal for framing and terrazzo floors, outlining entrance halls, running as a datum line, or creating graphic thresholds and transitions. As with all natural stone, expect variation in tone and veining, with the option to sequence pieces for a more controlled visual flow on request.
Paktong & White Serpentine Border – Harlequin has a crisp, tailored rhythm, with alternating forms creating a strong sense of movement across the length of the border. The contrast between warm metallic brown Paktong and pale White Serpentine gives the design a formal geometry, while the natural surface variation keeps it from feeling overly mechanical.
This harlequin border is particularly useful where a project needs a graphic edge, a framed floor composition or a more decorative threshold detail. It can sit alongside stone, terrazzo, polished surfaces or other custom materials where the design brief calls for contrast, order and a distinctive character.
Within the De Ferranti borders collection, this piece belongs to a group of Paktong and White Serpentine designs.
