This border is defined by a rhythmic sequence of curved “eye” and crescent forms, where mother of pearl ribbons weave across the centre and catch the light with a soft, shifting sheen. White serpentine provides the clean architectural ground, while the surrounding green marble frame adds depth and weight, turning the whole piece into a jewelled banding detail rather than a simple perimeter.
The geometry feels classical but fresh - part knotwork, part optical pattern - ideal for outlining stone floors, framing a central rug panel, defining thresholds, or running as a datum line in corridors and entrance halls.
As a mixed-material inlay, each section will carry natural variation in the green marble and the unique iridescence of the shell. Sequencing can be specified for longer runs to keep the flow consistent.
