The Pennello paprika terracotta tile is brushed entirely by hand in a warm red-orange colour inspired by the paprika tones of Moroccan spice markets. Irregular strokes create several nuances within the same field, while the slightly rugged edges and textured terracotta surface prevent the finish from appearing flat or mechanically uniform.

Paprika sits between red, orange and earthy brown, giving the tile enough presence to act as a principal colour without losing its connection to the clay beneath. Changes in brush density create lighter and deeper passages across each module. When laid together, these variations build a softly mottled surface that works particularly well with plaster, timber, dark metal and pale stone.
