The Lollo Sicilian terracotta tile is hand-painted in a Southern Italian artisan studio with blue, red, green, yellow and off-white floral geometry. De Ferranti records the design as Sicilian and Neapolitan in origin and 19th century in character. Its broad polychrome palette and handmade drawing create a lively decorative field without concealing the warmth of the clay body beneath.

Lollo combines botanical curves with an ordered geometric framework. Strong primary and earth-derived colours are separated by the off-white ground, helping the pattern remain legible when repeated across a larger surface. Small changes in brush pressure, outline and colour density are expected from hand painting and give the installation a more varied cadence than a printed tile.

Lollo can be considered for interior floors, feature walls, kitchens, bathrooms, restaurants and selected warm-climate exterior applications, subject to project specification. Its multiple colours work best when surrounding finishes echo one or two tones rather than competing with the complete palette. A sample panel is useful for assessing grout width, orientation and how the repeated floral geometry resolves at edges, corners and thresholds.
