These Orbit Ring ceramic modules form a sculptural surface of concentric rings that interlock into a flowing, rhythmic composition, halfway between mosaic and micro-architecture.

Orbit is built from small circular ceramic elements arranged in a tight repeat, where each “bullseye” ring gently overlaps the next to form a continuous, undulating field.

The result is graphic and architectural, with a subtle sense of movement that feels both Art Deco and quietly modern. In charcoal and ivory, the contrast sharpens the geometry while keeping the overall effect refined.

Each piece reads as a miniature object: a raised profile, crisp edges, and a tactile surface that catches light across the curves and recesses. Used as a full wall, niche lining, bar front, or decorative panel insert, Orbit delivers pattern without relying on illustration, only form.

Specifying Orbit Ring Ceramic Modules

Across a larger installation, the overlapping circles read as one continuous field rather than a series of separate motifs. At close range, the charcoal outlines and ivory centres reveal slight tonal movement and the individual modelling of each raised ring. Directional or grazing light can strengthen the shadows at the curved edges and recesses, while softer frontal light gives the pattern a quieter, more even reading. The chosen coverage should therefore be considered in relation to viewing distance, room scale and the proportion of the surface.

Supplied by Pataki Tiles, Orbit can be used as a concentrated inset or extended into a more immersive composition.
