This unique Stellar / Star designed border is fashioned from Marmo Bruno, Giallo Antico, hard White Limestone and Gold Leaf Glass Mosaic Tesserae over a cement base, ensuring that the border is stable, sound and easier to install.

Totally hand-cut and hand assembled, it is a truly handmade product. No border is the same, as the artist’s hand is vital in creating natural nuances within each interlocking piece. Thicknesses can be 1 cm or 2 cm, or made to order, as can the border widths and material combinations. All De Ferranti borders are fully customisable.

The strength of this star stone border lies in its clear celestial rhythm. Repeating star motifs sit within a pale limestone field, framed by warmer Marmo Bruno bands and lifted by the golden depth of Giallo Antico and Gold Leaf Glass Mosaic Tesserae. The result is decorative without being dense, giving the border a refined, classical quality with a discreet point of shimmer.
