An intricate interplay of geometry and floral rhythm, the Babylon and Criss-Cross Borders in miniature frame a floor with quiet precision and luminous detail. In this composition, two miniature borders are shown working in harmony, each subtly distinct yet unified in tone and proportion.

Crafted from Pure White Makrana Marble, white semi-precious serpentine and Mother of Pearl cabochon accent dots, the palette moves through chalk whites, soft mineral greens and iridescent pearl highlights. The mother of pearl introduces a gentle shimmer that lifts the otherwise matte stone composition, creating contrast between absorbent marble and reflective shell.

Each element is entirely hand-cut and hand-assembled over a stable cement base, ensuring structural integrity and ease of installation. Because every tessera is placed by hand, no two borders are ever identical – slight variations in alignment, tone and material lend each run its own natural nuance.
